The Fulbright-Heritage Council Professional Award offers a unique opportunity for Irish scholars and professionals, with at least five years’ post-qualification experience or a PhD/Professional Doctorate in cultural heritage, a fully funded opportunity to study, research, or teach with top experts at institutions in the United States. This prestigious award is designed to support individuals working in key areas such as:

Candidates can select their preferred U.S. host institution and must have the capacity to spend a minimum of four months and a maximum of five months in the USA. Preference will be given to those who do not already have extensive experience in the USA.
